2020: A Year End Review

Hello Everyone!

With 2020 over I thought it was time to do a lookback on 2020. I know I lot of people think that this was the worst year ever. Which with all the COVID stuff and everything else, yes it was. But in my opinion 2020 was actually a really fun year! I learned that life isn’t all about the big things that happen so I began to appreciate the little things a whole lot more! There are definitely a lot of highlights of 2020 so I thought why not share them with you all!

Life

Covid-19. Okay well this technically isn’t a highlight but it was such a big part of the year. This is on everyone’s review. Which isn’t surprising because it was pretty much the only thing that happened in the world for a while. I got COVID, that was definitely interesting, but I think I can safely say I am not the only one who cannot wait when it is all over.

Watched some really pretty sunsets. Since you really couldn’t go out and do much going and just watching the sunsets become pretty popular with me and my sisters. There is just something about a sunset that is just so amazing and beautiful!

We set up our hammock. Over the summer we but up our hammock in our backyard and it was really nice! I probably went out there every day and wrote letters to my pen pals or listened to music!

Baked a lot of cookies. This was one of the things I did to pass free time during my state lockdown. I made so many cookies and different kinds, but luckily other people ate them so it wasn’t up to me.

Had Chick–fil–a a few times. I cannot express how much I love this place. It brings me so much happiness😂

Went on 2 camping trips with friends. This is was really fun. Normally we go a lot more but we only could go twice this year😢 but I was able to see some of the prettiest sunsets on a beach near by on one!

Got my first job. This was definitely unexpected this year. But God 100% had different plans. I was really unsure about it at first but I am so happy I did take the job. It has gotten me out of my shell a lot and has boosted my confidence.

My brother got married. This was probably my favorite part of the year. I cried but the whole day and day before was just so fun!

Got to hang out with my bestie. This was really a blessing this year. We hung out a lot this year and made a lot of fun memories! And if you are wondering how we were able to hang out so much it’s because she is my cousin!😂

Had a trip over Christmas. My last post was about this but this honestly was one of the best parts of the year! It was a ton a fun and a really relaxing time!

Blog

So I knew I had to talk about my blog this year because I am in utter shock to be honest. Why? Well i’ll tell you.

We started off the year with 44 followers. We ended this year with 345. That is why I am in shock. I was so excited to reach 100 which I thought would happen. But like wow! You guys are all so amazing! I appreciate every single one of you. I can’t wait to see what this new year brings for my blog! Love you guys!
