Hiya Friends!
I thought I would start a new “series” and do a bake with me! It’ll be sporadic and thrown within the rest of my posts but I thought it’d be fun! So today I thought I’d show you the protein balls I make! The recipe that I’m going to share I found but I can’t remember where so just know that this is not my recipe. Anyway enjoy!
protein balls

These things are so delicious! They are such a great healthy snack or if you want something light and healthy for breakfast! And the best part is *even though this series is called bake with me lol* is that you don’t have to bake these! They are sooooo easy so here is the recipe and instructions!
recipe
2/3 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup of milled flax seed
2 tablespoons of honey
instructions
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix
- place in the fridge for 30 minutes to cool
- Roll dough into balls *if you find that the dough isn’t sticking together put 1 tsp of water or more in it to help mold together
- Once rolled into balls place on a tray and enjoy!
If you don’t want to put chocolate chips in you can easily replace them with nuts, dried fruit, or something else!
That’s all guys! I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you are exciting for the series! Have an absolutely wonderful day!
Have you made protein balls before? If so what kind? Let me know in the comments!
These look sooo good!

Mmm those look delish 🤤and can we replace the milled flax seed with something else? ‘Cause I want to try making it, but I don’t have the seeds. #DontEvenKnowWhatItIs😖

You can make these without the flax seed….i would just say put a bit more oats in there! Hope that helps!

Yeah, that helped a lot!

Ooh, I make these all the time, except I usually put protein powder in mine and use maple syrup and coconut sugar instead of honey!

Oh, I love making protein balls! Except mine don’t ever come out as pretty or look as delicious as yours do. I usually make mine with chocolate protein powder though.
