Hey Queens!
I’m an artistic person and during the summer when I don’t have school I tend to do a lot more artistic things so I thought I’d give you all some ideas of art related things to do this summer! Some of these I have done and others I really want to do this year so I hope you can use these ideas!
chalk art
Last year I did this so much, like I was outside every day by my sidewalk just doing chalk. It’s so relaxing and fun and I would do a lot of quotes or bible verses just to encourage people and so many of my neighbors told me that they loved seeing what I would do on the sidewalk! So not only is it just fun to do it can also make peoples day!
paint of shoes
I have wanted to do this for so long and hopefully sometime this summer I will get around to it! I’ve seen so many people get white shoes from Walmart for like $14 and then paint on them and they turn out so cute! It’s something I definitely want to try this summer and if I do I will probably do a post on it to show you all!
customize your own sweatshirts
This is another thing I’ve seen a lot of people do. They just go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and get a blank shirt or sweatshirt and then either tie-dye it, embroider it, etc. They look so cute and are super easy to do so it’s a great artistic thing to do!
draw or write on note cards and place them anywhere
I did this last year and went to my library and but them in books. It’s just a great way to draw and then make someone else’s day when they find the drawing or note in a book. I personally would love it if I ever found something in a library book so I love doing it for other people.
paint on cd’s
I actually did this a few nights ago for the first time and loved it! It’s so easy and almost everybody has random cd’s around there house that have nothing on them and they always look so cute!
paint on yourself
This is so fun. I did this so much last year and doing it with friend is even better. You do have to be careful because depending on what type of paint you use it can irritate your skin but otherwise it’s awesome!
